Did you know that it's been almost a year since I posted on here???!!!!

What have I been doing, well fist off my step mother passed in Feb. Shock is all I can say. After that I found myself slipping into a depression, where I didn't want to do anything or see anything. I got myself out of that and have lost a total of 50 pounds!! Yep I'm hot again!!! I have been taking better care of myself and realize that I am worth it. I also have an addiction, running!! Don't knock it until you try it:)

I have also taken up reading, and I have to say where were you all of my life! Nobody told me how interesting, steamy, erotic, make me wish that fictional character came to life! Sigh...

I also realized that I missed 10 years of my life. when I think back about what I did, it's just a blur with a couple of highlights. Now my head is on straight and I feel so much better.

And that's what I have been doing, getting my life back.

So as I was staring at myself in the mirror, I notice some black hairs mixed in with my strawberry blonde hair and I don't dye my hair.

This isn't the first time I noticed the them, but the first time I think that these black hairs are maybe in my mind supposed to be grey which is fine by me! No grey hair!!! Yippy:D

I should mention that I've had a few drinks and this probably doesn't make any sense.

I had a great time in Toronto this weekend! 

What I learned this weekend is that people with money or think they have money make me laugh! Who do they think their trying to impress! Not me! I just sat outside in the cold drinking my Starbucks and tried to blend in! hehe

 

I'm off to Toronto again this weekend on business! Who would of thunk that I'm be on business trips!! 

I got a great deal on a hotel room from this great web site paid $80 including tax/per night to stay at the Radisson downtown! I went to their website and it's $189.00 for their basic room. I love deals:)

I'm off to learn and then drink! Not sure which I'm more excited about? 

The girl I work with is sick, so I'm all alone in the basement of my office. It's so quite and kind of a little spooky. I should be working as there is soo much to do, but mah I'll do it on Friday. lol

My hubby drove me to work today as we only have one car, and I said to him that I will drive. After the kids got on the bus for school, I changed my mind and said he could drive. Well that was a big mistake as we got pulled over by the OPP (police)!!! The police officer came up to the car and said "I clocked you doing 111km in a 80km zone. That's going to be about $250 ticket and 4 points. Since both of you are  wearing your seat belts, I will knock it down to doing 95km so it will be just a ticket and about $52.00 dollars" What a nice police officer. (no sarcasm as he didn't have to do that) 
Now my hubby is banded from driving me to work!!! lol

Well back to work,  sort of.... 

So yesterday, my hubby and me took our kids to see "Ratatouille"

Well, it's been a very busy few weeks and I haven't been on the internet. Went to check my email, and OMG! there was soo many it took me 30min to clear up. I won't be on as much anymore as my work and trying to get myself back in shape are taking up most of my time, and then trying to spend time with hubby, children, friends etc.. takes a toll on one's self.
So here's me popping in to say hello and I will try to post when I get a chance.

So here it is, another week has past and I still haven't lived up to my promise to write in this journal at once a day so I'll try again...lol

I finally got to watch a TK flick and I chose King Kong. Now I don't own the DVD, it was on the movie channel and I didn't even know about it, my hubby told me about it. Ain't he sweet! I think he has come to the understanding that I have this thing about TK and he knows that I know I'll never meet him, he is just one person on my list! lol

I really would like the snow and cold to go away now! Enough is enough! My skin is soo dry that I fell like I need to take a bath in lotion! Hmmm, that's not a bad thought....

Signed my children up for soccer this weekend. My son's third time and my daughter's first. Looking forward to seeing my daughter as she has played soccer with her brother since she could walk.

So this is as my title says my first entry of the year, and to start that off a little rant...*clears throat*

As every knows, Christmas is a busy time for everyone and as I work in retail, it's busy for us too, until January. For some reason the CEO's that sit in an office all day must not think that people shop in January as my hours have gone from 30 hours a week to just 8. That's right I said 8!!! I've been with the company for over 5 years and they give the hours to the people who call in sick all the time and then want me to come in, and I've already made plans. So do I keep my plans or do I give them up? None of this would happen if they just schedule me instead. Okay rant over

I haven't been on for a while as my browser went down for a whole week!!! and I have been sick and still am. So I dragged my sick lazy butt off the couch and now I'm here.

Well, new years eve in upon us and like most parents, trying to find something to do with your young children. So tonight, my hubby and I are taking our children to the mall where for the past few years have an evening just for kids. Face painting, cookie decorating, jumping in blown up castles,(looks like fun, but I'm too big to go in:(
So by the time we come home, the kids are asleep and hubby and I can spend a nice quiet evening alone.

Ah, Boxing Day.

Okay it's not actually boxing day anymore but what can I say.
This is the day that my hubby and I get together with his brother, wife and children. But as usual, they couldn't come, sick or something.

Today is the day, well in Canada that people line up to supposedly save some money on things that was already over priced. Stand in line for hours in the dark and cold, (enter sarcasm here) where do I sign up?

There is this man that comes into my work often, and I have to say that he looks like TK! Now, I'm not one for saying that this person looks like this person, but he does!! And so much so that I can feel my heart start to beat a little faster and my cheeks to get a little red.
To top it off, he has an accent!
Also, it's not like he just walks by and I say hello. Oh no, I have to interact with him.
It's not like he knows I think he looks like TK, but every time I see him this happens!

I feel like a teenager!!!!
ARRRRG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, it's been a long while since I wrote something so here it goes...

Personally, I'm not one for writing, I enjoy reading other peoples entries, and that's the reason for no entries. So, I have made a promise to myself to make more entries, even if it's to myself.

My hubby found himself a golfing buddy at work, and let me tell you, I hate golf! At least once a week they go golfing and when he comes home that's all I here about. So now the snow is falling and I thought there would be no more golf talk, boy was I wrong! They are both on holidays next week and are trying to find an indoor golf thing!! ARRRRRRR!!!!

That feels better! All vented out:D

I'm off to find my daughter something white to wear as she is an angle in her Christmas Pageant. wish me luck!

Well since it's been WAY over a month since I posted anything in here I thought it was time. First, I was in the drug store and there was the Hugo Boss cologne with TK on a large poster. That was a nice surprise:D and the cologne is not that bad smelling. Second, I just realized that my children are growing up and fast. Where has the time gone? Third, this whole working during the day thing is for the birds. (I need to get myself a sugar daddy;D) just kidding or em I? That's good for now. I don't want to over do it in one night!

The things that I have learned...hmmm lets see, um, I know..
Don't eat yellow snow. hehe
Always watch where you are walking,(especially when there is a door close by ouch!)
Males will say anything,
Doctor's don't know everything (even though most think they do)
Child birth DOES hurt
Children don't come with owner's manuals
House work doesn't do itself (dam!)
The older some men get the better looking they get!

I have learned more but when you have children, I learned your brian turns to mush do to lack of sleep, and you never stop thinking about them.
